This process was preceded by a major video announcement in which he both announced the renaming and presented his vision of the future of the Internet. He outlined an all-embracing metaverse, which &#8211; simply put &#8211; attempts to connect the most diverse virtual places and elements in one large virtual space. In impressive demonstration videos, people teleported themselves from their sofa at home to a concert hall or a meeting room on the other side of the world without much effort. All they needed was a simple pair of glasses with a slim frame &#8211; hardly distinguishable from a plain visual aid without any electronics.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fa2dca9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fa2dca9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>\u201cA set of virtual spaces where you can create and explore with other people who aren&#8217;t in the same physical space as you. What he describes is more than a traditional virtual world or VR experience: it describes a very complex and abstract overall system. Other providers, such as Microsoft, are now working on similar projects and also want to create their own metaverse versions.
